Vortrag: Dipl. Ing. Axel Neumann

Abstract:
The talk will shortly cover the basics of Wireless Mesh Networks (WMN) and illustrate a deployment strategy in a student dormitory (Kellnerweg). The talk will delve into the advantages and problems of such a deployment. Furthermore, it will outline the Kellnerweg-network's potential usage as a local "testing environment" to help investigate existing problems. The talk is scheduled for approx. 30min and will be followed by an extended open discussion.
